Forum member O.J.King RIP

Post by J Miller »

Several years ago forum member OJ quit posting. His last post was Feb 19, 2013. I've emailed and PM'd him without an answer. Today, 9-28-17, I found some pictures on one of my thumb drives with his last name on them. From that I did a search and found his obituary. It was published in The Gazette on June 15, 2014.

He has been and will be missed. I do wish he (and others) who have passed would have left a designated someone to notify his forum friends. I've been wondering for a while and even posted here about not too long ago.

I posted his obit in our Memorial section.

Joe

Thanks for the post Joe. I remember Him well . He had a BMW motorcycle, and I think He was the member here who bought one of the first Mossberg 464 rifles that broke right out of the box. RIP O.J.

That was the gent with the giant dogs and that beautiful commemorative 1886, Correct?

Government office attracts the power-mad, yet it's people who just want to be left alone to live life on their own terms who are considered dangerous.

History teaches that it's a small window in which people can fight back before it is too dangerous to fight back.

Joe, thanks for doing this. I have thought about him several times but never tried to check on him.

Aloha Joe, Yes I remember OJ very well, an even keeled fellow that I enjoyed exchanging thoughts with. He was quite active here for years then just disappeared over night. Thank you for posting this Joe, I always wondered what happened to OJ, sadly now I know. I'm almost afraid to ask about the whereabouts of Doc Hudson another once regular poster here. I hope Paco is doing well too, sure miss his wisdom.

Blaine, I wouldn't expect you to ever quit being yourself. The world will always need humor.
