Forgotten Weapons Levergun Tour

Post by Ysabel Kid »

"Forgotten Weapons" is one of my favorite YouTube channels. I wish I had Ian's job!

A couple months ago, ahead of one of the auctions, he did a multi-part series on the development of... Winchester lever action rifles!

I thoroughly enjoyed this series. I apologize if this has been posted before (and amazed if it has not!). Here you go:

1860 Henry: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ofGnRSE7lpI

Winchester 1866: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4c4uEoLsqfU

Winchester 1873: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=52_IE0dcWsk

Winchester 1876: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=282V-Fjs9pY

Winchester 1886: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kx6xaNab5Es

Winchester 1892: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vv2LI9Z_qB4

Winchester 1894: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jd4JeYeN9fU

Winchester 1895: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ZmoJBRoIHQ

Ian did not go into the Winchester lever actions issued in the 19th century, which, as you know, were basically updates of these earlier models.

Enjoy! :D :D :D

Forgotten ... not hardly :)

The 1894 SRC in the 1894 video is a dead ringer for my very first 94. Wish I still had it.
