Not cheap - but very good barrels...........

FWIW I recently bought a new MGM 21" blued 357 magnum Contender barrel. 16 grains of 296 and the XTP 158 gr HP did a 3 shot 3/4" group at 100yds

Posted a pic of my carbine.....easy open frame,357 mag barrel,Weatherby 2x7x36 scope, TC rynite stock with Krylon camo paint job and a Blackhawk Cheek riser. I like wood stocks but the synthetic stock keeps the overall weight of the carbine around 5.5 lbs. I have two other barrels set up for this frame....a 21" tapered 22 Hornet TC barrel w/2x7 Vari X Leupold and a 21" 22lr w/match chamber and a Weaver K3. This is by far my favorite rifle......Mike

I'm sure they're fine barrels. Just not sure how I'd feel about buying one in a "barrel blowout" sale...

A 357 Max barrel would go great in Michigan's new PCC zone. I am rather fond of my Encore... hmmmmm

I keep an eye out for a .357 Contender G1 barrel, but it's not a big priority. Bu, if any of y'all decide to spend that kind of money for a .357 Contender barrel, let me know so we can haggle on buying your old one... ;)

I have an MGM barrel in .30 Herrett on my Contender. Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, but expect wonderful accuracy.
