Fresh meat

Post by fe3 »

I have been a big fan of Paco Kelly's writing for a long time. So I finally decided to join this forum. He has written what I consider the most informative articles available. I live in western Montana and spend most of my free time shooting stuff and camping with my kids.

If more men loved and cherished their wives as much as I love bacon the world would be a much better place.

Welcome to the forum. A tip from a guy who grew up in Deer Lodge, don't ever ask this group of enablers should I get this rifle or that rifle....the answer will most likely be BOTH

Welcome to the "best" Enablers Gun Forumn. I too read a lot of Paco's articles. I felt normal after his articles on 30/30 and other cartridges that were considered obsolete and underpowered by all the experts and know-it-alls! Todd/3leg
30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres

Welcome to the forum, Montana.

And I'm going to preemptively leave the following answers here...

Yes. Buy it. If more than one, buy both. We're enablers here and proud of it.
No. Don't sell it.
If you have to sell it, check here first.
Yes. The 30-30 is the most bestest round ever. Or the 45-70. Take your pick.
Black rifles are cool, too.
So are wheelguns, black powder, semi-autos.....just about anything that goes bang is cool around here.
Some people just need a sympathetic pat on the head.....with a hammer. Repeatedly.
