There was a S&W in .32-20 at a local shop about a month ago with $515 price tag. Excellent shape but it had replacement pearl grips and didn't buy it. I went back the next day and it was gone.

Police Positives don't seem to go for as much but I had one that was almost new with a 5" barrel. I got a big $ for that one, more than $500 and that was about 18 years ago.

The local pawn shop up here in Mn. has a nice S&W model 10 6 inch that has had a very nice rebluing job done on it in 32-20 he has about $500 on it and it's been there a long time. It would be a great shooter, not a collector.

I owned one of those back in the late 1980's, it was a very neat pistol, well made, shot great, which of course I traded immediately for the next shinny object, which was traded for the next shinny object, which was traded for the next shinny who knows what...an unfortunate pattern... :(

The "Police Positive" is a Colt model.
They seem to be going for less than Smiths. http://www.gunbroker.com/item/628890069
