Dad

Post by GunnyMack »

I lost my father tonight. He has been sick for about 9 months. Not the dreaded cancer that we all fear. He spent over 50 years of his 84 flying everything from WW1 trainer biplanes to state of the art Boeing 757. Many students of his went on to great careers in aviation. Thousands of hours and over 3 million miles.

Godspeed Dad

Very sorry to hear this. I still think of things I wanted to ask my Dad. It's a hard thing to go adjust to, not being able to drop in or pick up the phone and hear his voice. Your family is in my thoughts.

Hi Gunny,

There is no way to describe the grief that comes with losing a parent or spouse except it's a "club" you join that binds you with others, and nothing more need be said to each other because you already know how they feel.

My God Bless the Soul of your Dad and you and your family during this difficult time.
