The End of Brass Cartridge Cases??
Interesting read...if it pans out and becomes less expensive in the long run over brass....I'm all for it. I wonder how viable the solution for reloading used cases will be.

Some people just need a sympathetic pat on the head.....with a hammer. Repeatedly.

Re: The End of Brass Cartridge Cases??
Ain't holdin' my breath. The dies are a mere U$100.00 extra.
One of my concerns is can/will the case separate and become jammed in the barrel? With anything man-made, anything is possible. Also wonder if, over time, will the nickel plated stainless steel case cylinder case undue wear in semi-autos?
Might work, but I 'dunno'. Advertising sounds great, but when it comes to advertising paper can't refuse ink. I 'gonna' sit back, watch and wait....
Recall when case less ammunition was going to put the brass manufacturers out of business and save reloaders money?? Remember all the Black Powder substitute propellants that were going to make Black Powder completely and totally obsolete, causing it not to be made any more? Then there was the ol' "Hi-Vel" cartridges and powders from the 1950's-60's there were going to replace existing powders and ammunition.

The most important aspect of this signature line is that you don't realize it doesn't say anything significant until you are just about done reading it & then it is too late to stop reading it....

So - tougher metal = more wear on dies, no?
Or are the new proposed dies tough enough to stand up to constant use?

Re: The End of Brass Cartridge Cases??
If you make a mistake in reloading... ain't no pullin' the bullet and re-using the case... either inertia or collet bullet pullers can cause a separation of the case head from the body.
