Nope.

There are places where I have felt the need to carry. My wedding wasn't on e of them.

Of course. There are (I suppose) places that are safe and I don't need to carry. But coming and going happens, plans change, people change their minds, stuff happens. So of course.

No. Just three weeks back from SEA, the only threat I perceived was from the asinine individuals at the airport. And, I wasn't allowed to shoot them, though the needed it.

^^^ Except,...winter. I'm getting less interested in winter as time goes by. I want to be a snowbird. 27+ years in the winter wonderland, with occasional visits to warmer country in winter, a habit I hope to make more regular.

I just got married at the court house. The metal detectors and armed guards wouldn't have allowed me through the doors with a handgun :o

Yes...

And do even when robed up for Lector/Elder duties at my current church.

Oddly enough, I convinced a good friend of mine (an "elder" at the local synagogue) to believe in the same thing... after a part of their sancturary was damaged in an explosion...

I suppose it would be a good idea when you get married in a trailer park with a garbage can full of rancid meat to keep the flies off your bride...

I carried a Colt Model 1908 Vest Pocket .25 inside my tuxedo coat during our wedding ceremony back in the last millennium, but it was for novelty's sake versus any perceived need to be armed.

For that matter my Dad and I brought down two cases full of Colts, Winchesters, and vintage shotguns for the wedding photos. After the traditional photos, we took a series of photos with all the groomsmen and even bridesmaids holding vintage shooting irons. My wife was a great sport about it and she's still my sweetheart.

We were married in a chapel that was part of the courthouse in Clarksville, TN. Concealed carry wasn't an option then. The courthouse was destroyed 18 years ago by a tornado.
