Field reports from England.

Post by Nath »

Hi folks, I hope your all well.
Pheasant season has started and on opening day it was pouring down but I was determined to get a first bird with my 45 smoothbore.
Keeping that nipple dry was testing!

I got my bird and got out of there :)

My second bird this season had to be via flintlock.

I seem to be burning more black than nitro these days!
I still get the occasional call for fox trouble, usually on a pheasant preserve or chicken farm. The WMR is all the rifle I need these days.

So glad you're able to get afield and post the pics of your adventures. Thanks.

I took a crunchy walk last evening. The leaves are just beginning to fall here and it's muzzle loader deer season so I was armed.

Good pictures, as always. I have not shot any foxes, but the ones you use the 22 WMR on seem to think that it is enough gun. Thanks for sharing your experiences with us.
