I'd love to make one of these using a vintage Bear Zwickey Broadhead.

That would make a neat neck knife with a Kydex sheath with good retention built in. I used to shoot those Bear broadheads. They were good points. Washington does not allow some of the new types unless the rules have changed. No movable blades or barbs allowed here.

Exactly what I was thinking Rusty.
Could even grind the top edge off for safety, and use it as a small game field dresser.

Illegal in Oklahoma. No double edged knives allowed. Isn't that ridiculous?

So last year somebody in the neighborhood put out an old whitetail mount for the trash that happened to end up in my garage, lost its horns then went to trash guy. I just got three old zwickey broad heads off ebay. I will post pics soon. Tom.

Yeah.. And this prevents... what?

I know a guy who still wields a push dagger, a boot-knife and a Cold Steel OSS.
