Hey thanks men! Gamekeeper, I still remember that powerful apple cider we had before fishing for Grayling. I went wading right into the stinging nettles and it hardly bothered me a bit!!

Thanks, all, for the birthday wishes. I wife gave me a pair of wonderful hand-crafted moccasins, made by the Huron Indians of Wendake, Quebec, Canada. They feel so good, I want to go to sleep with them on tonight, but I won't.

Kirk, do you think maybe an "older" northwoodsman could post a picture of your new moccasins?? I am wearing a pair that I made a few years, both have patches on the bottom. I really need to make a new pair some day. I have plenty of leather but the older I get the harder it is to sit down and start cutting.
