Flag Day

Post by jnyork »

Don't forget, today is Flag Day. Let's put 'em up real high.

Also, IIRC, today is the 241st anniversary of the founding of the United States Army. Happy Army Day to all you vets out there. :D

My flag (several) has been flying everyday since our son joined the Marines when he finished high school in 1985.

I put out a brand new sewn 3' X 5' a couple years ago for the Fourth of July......copper pipe pole attached to a fence post 20 feet from my front window. It lasted two days! Someone stole it, ripping it off the mount that was screwed to the post. Kinda lost my desire to put one out after that. :( Rotten dogs!!

Jim, email sent. Congrats on 25! Happy anniversary to you and your wife.
This is plagiarized from someone else, but I love it!

I didn't become one later in life.
I was born this way.
