I disagree. Chesney does some good country stuff, and Lady GaGa, when she wants to, has a great voice (did you hear the National Anthem she sang at the Super Bowl?). Beiber was just a passing fad that hangs on and on and on. Madonna was a trend setter, but is way over the hill. But the whole thing of taking these people as more than just entertainers, as "political/social leaders" is insane.

There is none. The people in charge did what most people do with their trash...they threw him into a roadside dumpster. Hopefully the NL Kardashians will soon follow.

That reminds me of what happened a few years ago in my buddies gunshop/shooting range. This "bro" rented a gun then blitzed himself in the bathroom. The cops came and said they had to wait for the coroner. My buddy told the cops to "remove that piece of garbage" as he has a business to run and if they don't, "he will pick him up himself and throw him in the dumpster".

Having visited your friends shop, it very easy to picture him doing that.

As for the topic, yes, Prince was a very talented man. It blows me away how someone with so much, and so much going for them, can waste their time with dope.
That said, I'm sure many of the best songwriters are very troubled people.
