Drifter update and shenanigans

Post by TedH »

A couple weeks ago we took Drifter in to the vet for shots and neutering. Didn't seem to bother him in the least, and he's since stopped "marking" mama's flower pots, garage doors, shrubs, and sidewalk, so she's happy about that.

It hasn't seemed to curb his desire to hunt any, and while he was out having fun the other day he found a hole in the fence around the lagoon and decided it would be proper to go for a swim.

After a thorough bathing, all was forgiven by mama, though I was still not too happy with his decision, and had to go mend the fence.

I think here he is thinking, "Ha! I can really mess up and she still loves me!"

Drifter is what I'd call a lovable rogue...... :D
If more men loved and cherished their wives as much as I love bacon the world would be a much better place.

Here's a Loyalty Test for dog owners:

* Lock your dog and your wife/girlfriend (but not both!) in the trunk of a car for an hour...

* Open it up after an hour...

* Which one is the most happy to see you???

It looks like Drifter knows who to go to for forgiveness.

He's looking great.

It's a Happy day Ted. Drifter has filled out as We all knew He would. Tell Your Lovely Wife how Good that Big Smile looks, not that long ago She was in the accident. Glad it all worked out for both of You. :D .

Isn't it great that most dogs and many women share that same trait?

I really enjoy reading about Drifter's progress - thanks for sharing!

Ted, my Brittany, the Watson, was an artist at sneaking out for swims, just like Drifter. Miss that rascal.
