Tia.

Post by Nath »

Many of you good folks on here know Tia.
She grew up on here.
She was the best dog I ever had the the pleasure to love.

The runt of the litter and the last to go she sat on mom and my single hands at nine weeks old.

She grew into a cautious soft mouthed hunting extrordinair, from squirrels to deer she did it all.
As soon as she saw me with a firearm or bow she knew we were hunting.

Just three weeks ago she bolted her last rabbits.

I always promised her she would never suffer.

Rest my good friend.

Oh, Nath, I am so sorry. I had to put my best pal down in October and the pain is still fresh. The new puppy scampering around and peeing has helped ease the pain some, but I don't dare dwell on Gunnar for long. Your Tia was a beautiful girl and a great companion in the field. Thank for sharing so many great hunts with us. I do hope you meet Tia again.

Nath, I am really sorry to hear this. I know she leaves a great, empty spot in your life. She was a wonderful dog.

This is a post that has meaning. Sorry bud. In my 61 years, there's virtually nothing that can cause the pain of a loss of man's best furry friend.

Most of us have been there and the only consolation I can say is that we are sure that you gave Tia the best life anywhere that a dog could have lived and that she was a very happy dog in the short life that dogs live.------6

Nath,
Anyone that has ever had that one dog, that for whatever reason stood out above all the other dogs that we have worked and loved, feels the pain of your loss. For that we mourn with you. The grief will be replaced with the memories of the cold mornings, the crack of the gun, the retrieve and the time shared with a friend that loved every minute in the field with you, just as much as you loved the time with her. Cherish those memories.

Very sorry for your loss. It is truly awful to lose a friend as dear as good dog. I think Jack hit the nail on the head, she had the life most dogs dream of.

Ours passed in Septmeber and we are feeling her absence in everything we do from crawling into bed to running the trapline.

I am just back from a hunting trip to get this hard news. I think a hunting dog has to hunt a lot in this life to be truly happy. Tia hunted hard, and we've all enjoyed the fine photos of those hunts. Nate , you've done right by that dog, and she enjoyed a lot of fine hunting, because she had the right owner for her life. Yall were a fine pair. Condolences friend.
