Speaking of T-Shirts... Revised - see new 1st post

Post by Griff »

Found another site that has pocket long sleeved T's. They do fundraisers. I've created a couple of different designs. But... to keep cost of the shirts reasonable (?) the quantity purchased must be 50+. I've changed the poll to reflect the changes. Currently the basic long sleeve pocket "T" with silkscreened Leverguns logo on the front and back is $20. This is a better price than the other site.

I'm not infatuated with the big logo across the back. They have an option to have the logo silk-screened down the sleeve. Unfortunately their website doesn't accommodate that artwork. So... you'll just have to use your imagination. There is an upcharge of ~$7 for the sleeve print.

Pics of the shirt:

So, on the poll, indicate your color choice, (any color than white will have lettering in black and black would have the logo in white); then pick whether you'd prefer the back logo, or the logo on the sleeve or if you'd like the logo on the pocket deleted. Unless we can justify the quantities, there's only one color choice, as running multiple fundraisers will provide diminishing returns.

What're your thoughts?

I would prefer a pocket "T" also, but I don't see an option for it on the website.

There is an outfit that does such things on a one by on basis, at least they used to. http://www.cafepress.com/?utm_medium=cp ... d%20-%20us

They will make all manner of goods that can be sold by a web site to raise money for the site. IIRC Paco has never wanted this done in the past. Hobie might ring in for more information but I think that has been brought up in the past.

I only wear pocket Ts myself.

I'd be interested in a pocket version myself, but it's hard to find long sleeve pocket Ts.
I'd be interested in the heavy T Griff is currently proposing.

Sounds like T-shirt companies are missing out on a die hard market share.
At least 6 months of the year I wear a pocket tee over a thermal or long sleeve T.
Rest of the year I lose the long sleeve part.

If you want to do this you should probably look into setting up a "Cafe Press" sort of thing, you supply a logo and pick what you want it available on they tell you the real price, you set your price, people buy it they do everything and send you the different. Cups, shirts, t-shirts, sweat shirts, bags, polos, hats, etc etc you name it. It's actually very easy to do.

There's quite a few sites that do it, I stayed out of the RSA one because I'm to busy with so much other stuff but if you go there and look at it you very the idea that costs the RSA zero. I think it could be done better "looking" but the guy who did it has no computer savy and I just put the link to it. http://www.remingtonsociety.com and then click the merchandise link.
I can get the name of it if your interested.
Again they do all the work payments shipping etc and just send checks :)

Will the poll be restarted or a new one started to reflect the changes added at the end of or after the poll closed ?
I like the logo on the pocket , also prefer the sleeve logo if a second logo is needed. Any color is fine with me.

Thought I'd added enough day to run it for another week. Fixed now, poll runs thru July 23.

Yes, I'll take a couple if they have a front pocket and motto on the sleeve. Not on the back, please.

I'm in for a couple, but I'd like the pocket if possible.
