Jungle in Black - a 'must read'

Post by AJMD429 »

Just finished this; it was written by a guy my cousin met recuperating at Walter Reed in 1969. Never read another 'war' book like it. Tears of sorrow, anger, empathy, and joy were elicited from me and that isn't easy to do for a book. You won't be disappointed if you buy a copy. I may not be qualified to judge a 'war story' because I was just young enough that I 'missed' going to Viet Nam and have never been in the military, although about half my ancestors served (in the American Revolution, Civil War, Spanish American War, World War I, World War II, the Korean War, & Viet Nam). However many of you who have served will doubtless like the way this guy writes.
