I hate to be a Gloomy Gus, but Remington's quality control has been a bit spotty lately.

I would let someone else test them for a while.

I saw an article on the 380....I'm still wondering if they ever got the R51 problems fixed. :? I was very interested in one of those until they had all the problems. Now you never hear anything about them...

Hummph ! I'm disappointed.

While I found the look of the 9mm R-51 to be very different/attractive, I'm afraid that I can't say the same for this new RM-380 pistol.

IMHO, it looks the same as most of the other .380's on the market - A UPP (Universal Plastic Pistol), if you will.

Exactly, Keltec led the way and everyone copied.

Looks more like a cross between a Rohrbaugh and a Seecamp.

There's not one thing about them that could possibly convince me to trade in my LCP.

After their 9mm debacle I am a skeptical........and the market is a tough one to break into with the Ruger LCP and S&W Bodyguard and what not.
