She'll know when it's time not to go along. Until then, let her hunt. It's what she does. And there are likely many more memories to make.

Then again, I grew up with a male cocker spaniel. Gone now almost 50 years, but I still miss Pepper.

It's gonna be hard, a few years from now, Nath - I'm glad you're still getting to enjoy a day out with your best friend.

Thanks Nath. Makes me remember my first dog that I got about 70 years ago. Neighbors across the road raised Cockers and one of their bitches got bred by a Stafffordshire so they gave me one of the puppies. I even got to be present when the tails were docked. His name was Micheal O'Flaherty Flynn. Guess they thought he was Irish. Solid black except for a small white star on his chest. He lasted 9 years.

Those are great photos, Nath. Thanks for giving us another little glimpse of rural England and a fine hunting dog.

I don't know how you can't love a dog.

She sure looks like a happy, contented dog Nath. I bet she feels very useful, which is as important in a dog as it is a man. They do love to help.
