Added another little lantern to the collection today.

Seems to be a very well made little lamp.
Have to do some more research on it, paid $15.00 for the lamp.

Feuerhand Original Nier model 175 Super Baby Sturmfest
Made in W. Germany

Some general information,
The Feuerhand lanterns were made in Germany and patented in 1926 by Bruno Nier & the FEUERHAND lantern factory, which is the last remaining producer of original kerosene lanterns in the Western hemisphere. Since July 2003 the company is called "Feuerhand GmbH i. G. Spezialfabrik für Sturmlaternen". It produces lanterns of high quality since 1902. The items are made of first choice 0.3 mm steel sheet and hardened wire, precisely stamped, crimped, and overlapped, with brilliantly dip-tinned finish and excellent fit of all parts.

I like those a lot. When I was a boy I had a 8X12'cabin in the woodlot behind my folks and spent many a night there through the year with a kerosene lantern for light and a small airtight woodstove for heat. Good times ! And they always worked.

Very nice. I like those too. I have a couple around and I will have to give them a look to see who made them and where they came from.

The only lantern I have right now is a Dietz Junior No.20. I bought it close to 35 years ago, a good operating lamp.
