I am unable to find a current price on these limited run Marlins. Anybody have any information? Best I can determine only 250 in 45 Colt were made.....

Never seen one, but 'JM' Marlins are highly desired and pricey these days (vs. Remlins), and 45 Colt has always been a gem in the 1894. Some don't take to it, but add Stainless and it sweetens the deal.

I couldn't find a 45 Colt Marlin, but I found a new 45 Colt round barrel at Brownell's for $100, and snapped it up. Made my pre-safety 44 Mag into a 45 Colt... 8)

I had one of those bad boys in 45 Colt for awhile .

I originally got the 1894P and 1894CP which were both blued and walnut . At some point they made a limited run of the 45 Colt that were blued walnut and I wanted one (but never found one) . So I finally got one of the Limited run stainless laminated jobs .

All three and the 336Y were kinda neat to carry with the little 16 1/2" barrels .

FWIW Marlin made this laminated stainless 16 1/2" job in 357 , 41 , 44 and 45 all were in runs of 251 I think . Can't remember if they made them for Lipseys or Davidsons .
