saw a Marlin 1893 and a Winchester 1873

Post by MacEntyre »

Yesterday I met a fellow who was wanting to sell two nice rifles. He had a Marlin 1893 SRC in 32 HPS (32 WS), and a Winchester 1873 in 44-40. The Winchester was originally a nickle plated rifle... not much left, but it looked very good nonetheless! Both had the "18" in the model number, as they were made before Marlin and Winchester dropped it.

Sure wish I had about $5K spare cash on me at that moment... if anyone is interested, I could forward his name and number.
