Deep Thoughts...

Post by Old Ironsights »

I mowed the lawn today, and after doing so I sat down and had a cold beer. The day was really quite beautiful, and the drink facilitated some deep thinking on various topics.

Finally I thought about an age old question: Is giving birth more painful than getting kicked in the nuts?

Women always maintain that giving birth is way more painful than a guy getting kicked in the nuts. Well, after another beer, and some heavy deductive thinking, I have come up with the answer to that question.

Getting kicked in the nuts is more painful than having a baby; and here is the reason for my conclusion. A year or so after giving birth, a woman will often say, "It might be nice to have another child."

On the other hand, you never hear a guy say, "You know, I think I would like another kick in the nuts." :?

I rest my case. Time for another beer.

My wife says sinus surgery/recovery was the most painful thing she's ever endured, and she's given birth four times and had kidney stones, so...

I'd have to give a considered weight to the opinion of a woman who's has twins.

Government office attracts the power-mad, yet it's people who just want to be left alone to live life on their own terms who are considered dangerous.

History teaches that it's a small window in which people can fight back before it is too dangerous to fight back.

You should not operate mechanical devices while drinking beer.

Its pretty hard to make a direct comparison, I imagine both are similarly painful. But I'll tell you this. About a month ago, somehow my nuts got all twisted up and I was in excruciating pain. I went to the emergency room, they called in a Urologist and he said they were twisted, cutting off the blood flow to one of them. He said I needed surgery ASAP and there was a good chance I would loose it. They rolled me right into surgery. To make a long story short, he saved it. But my sack was swollen up like a grapefruit for a week and I was on some kind of morphine based pain meds for a while. All is well now, but I never want to go through that kind of pain again!
