Extremely Proud Papa

Post by madman4570 »

Guys-------very proud of our Daughter.
Upon completing her BS Degree in High School Science (grades 7-12)Education(certified in General Science/Earth Space Science/Biology)-----and attaining from one of Pennsylvania's (Oldest/Highest ranked Teaching Universities)and attaining for all 4 years a (perfect 4.0)by achieving that criteria of at least or beyond the 3.95 GPA required level (all 4 years) she attained "SUMMA CUM LAUDE"--guess 4.0 beats the 3.95 :oops:

Was just informed today----------------------she was offered and accepted a High School Science Teacher position.

I knew this gal is very bright---------but what really stunned me was this summer she presented to the public a 1.5 hour presentation at a fantastic Planetarium. She memorized the whole deal/while also running all that goes with the Planetarium.

Wife and I looked at each other when completed and people stopped applauding ---she had not one stumble/fidget/ahh/hands in pockets etc.
Just pure crisp facts/perfect dealing with publics questions with her cute way and smile while we watched as she took us from earth to the far reach of the stars. She was absolutely dead nuts on.
Thought right then if our gal can do that-----------------she can do/work anywhere doing many types of jobs etc.
Happy day here----------------------as now she is a real honest to goodness TEACH! :D
A fine Education from a fine Institution================combined with a fine person=========good things.

Sounds like she will be one of the 'excellent' ones students will be privileged to be taught by, and likely she'll have a challenge staying out of trouble with the 'administrators', because she'll think outside the box. Her grades make me think she'll be up to the challenge, and relish doing what best educates her students.

Congratulations!

Earning a degree Summa Cum Laude is A LOT of work.

You and your daughter have every right to
be proud of what she's done.

Called the little cup cake to make arrangements to take her/boyfriend out to a fine Restaurant tonight to celebrate-----she said to say to each and every one of you------just saying the exact wording(Ah, that is sweet of them guys----tell them all THANK YOU!)
(I will do my very best, and maybe some day their Children/Grandchildren could possibly be in one of my classes.) :wink:
