We rode the greenway path this morning, and a couple of mountain bikers yelled at my daughter for going too fast.
She was plenty safe, but it hurt her feelings.
We had a great ride, anyway.

I'll end up wrapping this before I roast the corn and sautee the asparagus, but here is the pork shoulder and Polish wedding sausage on the smoker

pretty awesome.
In our New Mexico trip two summers ago, we rode the July 4th train from Chama, which returned to the station at dark and parked us under the most impressively orchestrated hour-long fireworks show I've ever witnessed.
Coming from south Texas on the first of July - the cold mornings were a vacation in themselves.

That sounds great! I'm going to look into that.

been stir-frying the pulled pork leftovers in La Costena Ranchera sauce for tacos.
Made my daughter pulled pork nachos for movie night last night, and they were gone before I turned around.

btw, if you've ever liked vampire movies, Byzantium is the Best ever made.
