That's the sort of rifle I think I'd love -- but then I look at that crescent butt, think about how stout the recoil would be with a .348, how VERY careful I'd have to be when shouldering it to avoid a painful jab, and well...

I always was curious why Hawk sold .348 spitzers. Here's an excuse to use them...
Heck, may as well rechamber to AI and get that 270 gr Hawk Spitzer running about 2500 fps. Yikes
