New guy from Texas

Post by Concho »

First post here. Not sure how to introduce myself. Didn't see a "new members" forum.
Used this site for a reference for years. Good source of info. Own several levers. Been
a hand loader for 15 years. Particularly fond of 44mag 444 marlin, and 35rem.
Hope I didn't post this in the wrong place.

With 44 Mag 444 Marlin and 35 Rem, you have the bases well covered... 8)

Forum rules require you gotta post some cool gun pictures, come up with a project or idea nobody else has done (and we can make fun of), and get into a 'Politics' forum argument within the first 90 days. After that, you're officially one of us...

Seriously, welcome - this could well become your 'home page' on the net.

Welcome from another Texan. What area of the state are you in?

Thanks for the warm welcomes/replies. I live in Freestone county, just west of the I 45 corridor between Dallas & Houston, and east of Waco. I have 9 levers in all. I am working on posting pics. My newest is a 336 Marlin Zane Gray Century. Took awhile to find that one.
I am a NRA member, and a strong conservative. So I will try not to argue politics here. I don't rile easy anyway. I promise pics will be up soon. Worked on my avatar last nite, but it wouldn't take.

Isn't there some serious silhouette shooting over your way, Concho, near Mexia? My daughter went to Baylor so I know the area slightly.
