Newbie in Seattle

New to the forum. Looking to learn more about lever's. Have 2 now, both marlins. MXLR .450 w/ leupold scout scout set up and a guide gun in .450
Think my next one will be a 39a marlin.

Those .450's seem like awesome guns, and I keep hearing they're stronger than the .45-70's, but I don't know that for a fact. Plenty of power, that's for sure.

The .22 LR is a good 'next' cartridge to get into - saves lots of money.

Then a mid-power round out of a carbine, like an 1894 in .32-20 Win or .357 Mag or .44 Mag or .45 Colt. . . 8)

Have a chance to get a Win. 94 in .30 .30 made in 41. Any idea of value? Condition is good.

Welcome to the Group. U will like it here. Just to get You up to speed You need the following- 1911, Garand, 94,AR and a Glock. Oh yea, go ahead and get a 39 then You can build from there. And don't think for one minute anyone here will try to talk You out of a purchase (aint gonna happen). Anyhow enjoy Your stay,Post often and we really do like pics.

check pre'64 Win94 prices on gunbroker..it'll get you a basic idea... :)
