A Few Pics From My "Hood"

Post by CBinNH »

The wife & I went to pick a Christmas tree today from a tree farm 1/2 mile up the road from our place. Brought the camera along for a change. Always meant to for the 15 or so years we have been buying them here. This is SW New Hampshire looking North in the first 2 & West to Vermont in the last 2. As you can see, unless you are hunting power lines or your neighbors tree farm :D , levers with iron sights are just the ticket for the local whitetails.

Woodsloafer,
You are correct. I take it this is your neck of the woods too.

Very pretty. Trees as thick as hair on a dog's back. I see what you mean about a leverguns world. Now where's your pics of your deer?

Almost, I live in Royalston, MA, but I was at Windswept this a.m. with my family picking out our trees - definitely a nice day with clear, distant views. I went to Trader John's afterward but did not find anything that really interested me.

Remnants of our Halloween northeaster - over 20" in my town on 10/29-10/30 but much has now melted, as you can see.

We had over 24" of snow last weekend. We are just tagging a tree. We call when we want to pick it up a couple weeks before Christmas & they cut it then.
