Rossi 92 receiver sight?

Post by awp101 »

I'm 99% sure this too was covered on the old board but that was still then, the "One Sticky" doesn't cover this either and I still haven't figured out the right search words to pull anything up here using the search function so here goes again...

These will take a receiver sight like the Williams, right?

I recall Nate Kiowa Jones was working on a peep that replaced the bolt safety but never heard anything final and it's not on his website.

Thanks again! :D

Sure they will. A Williams 94/36 works fine. Just need to drill and tap your receiver.

I believe the one Steve has to plug the hole where the safety was doesn't
have windage adjustments (or if it even screws up and down for elevation)

Allot of folks on this sight swear by the williams sights. I just put a Marbles
tang sight on my SRC a couple weeks ago.

I love the way it points now and I have it far enough forward so I can get my
sausage link thumb around the tang :D

The only ammo I have ATM is the ultramax 250 grainers and they don't do
very good, about 6" at 75 yards (across my back yard). I'm gonna pick up
some 300-335 solids and get some dies and see what can be done.

XS sights has a receiver sight for a 94 AE that I want to say someone said
would fit a 92, but please don't gamble on my memory.

Thats what it looks like, I borrowed that pic from Mr Quinns site. If I were
to have a receiver sight on a 92 I would like it to be like this one.

Thanks!

For some reason I was thinking (there I go, working without tools again... ) the sight would interfere with the top of the bolt.
