Time once again to chase piggys

Post by JReed »

Well I am heading out in the am up to Vandenberg AFB for mine and my buddies 3rd annual Ca pig hunt. We have been planning this for months hopefully we dont get skunked like last year. :D
Wish us luck and I will catch up with you all on Monday.
Oh and on Monday I start the base intramural rifle and pistol matches they go from the 14th to Feb 1st most of the matches is the rifle and pistol coaches course. It is a lot of early mornings but in this job you get used to it and a bad day of shooting is better then a great day aat work :D . Well time to hit the rack you all have a great weekend.

Sometimes I wonder if it is worthwhile gnawing through the leather straps to get up in the morning..................

Good luck on both adventures. Be sure to post pics when back. I've never had the oppertunity to hunt pigs before, something I have always wanted to do.

Best of luck to all of you! Two buddies and I will be completely across the country doing the same thing in S.C. over President's Day weekend for 3 days. Our deer season ended on Sunday and with spring turkey starting around 1 April here, this is kinda our saving grace in between...lol. Now, to all you other hog hunters, .444 with peep, .450 Marlin with red dot, 336ER in .356 Win with scope, BLR .358 Win with scope or 99 in .300 Savage(scope)??
