What is the nose to crimp length for Lyman 452423 slug

What is the nose to crimp length for Lyman 452423 slug

Anyone know the nose to crimp length for this slug? Its a semi wadcutter designed for the 45 auto at about 240gr.

Corrado,

Like I said in the email, I don't have one of those bullets to measure. But ... I do have one of the 6 cavity Lee molds. So I dug it out and measured from the bullet nose to the top of the crimp grove and got approximately .341". Add that to a .45 Colt case trimmed to 1.280" and you come up with 1.620" ... approximately.

That should work with the rifle you told me about.
