winchester model 74
It usually pays to stay on the better side of your father-in-law. Mine is 94 years old, and he bought----way back in 1947, a Winchester model 74 semi-auto .22 rifle. It has been shot very little, has been oiled and cared for all these years, and is in really mint condition, I'd say at least 95 or 97 %. He must have had a fit of generosity toward me that needed salving today, he came over for awhile to eat with us, and handed it to me, said he didn't need it anymore. Means more to me this way than picking it up later after he's gone. I've had a model 74 since 1962, but his will be more special to me. Bruce
To hell with them fellas, buzzards gotta eat same as the worms.
