Those are some good looking old rifles. 8) Could you give us some details?

I much prefer those slim stocks and forearms of the old rifles and carbines to the fat clunky obese ones they make now.

Those are some sweet Marlins K.K.

Glad you posted 'em over here. Those are really nice. Why they could almost entice a feller to say wonderful things about Marlins. Almost! :P

So you could almost say how much easier they are to take down for cleaning? Almost say how they don't rattle around like an old Winnie? :P

 Far be it from me to put words in your mouth. But, those are the same ol' arguements. A rattly ol' Winchester just balances better. To me. :P But, pretty pictures are impressive. Good lookin' levers. 8)

Good lookin' rifles! There's just something about the old ones that have seen miles of tender loving use.

Nothing quite as pretty as a bunch of levers standing side by side.
I have four of my levers hanging on my gun rack in my reloading room.
Along with all of the knotty pine, they take the room back to the 1940's.
Nice pics Knuck.

Actually it's the new Winnies that rattle like loosie goosies. My older ones are nice and tight.
It's the Marlins that don't sound right  .

And you don't need to take the Winchester 94s apart for cleaning unless you drag them through the mud. All the dirt, grit and junk usually just falls out the bottom  .
