OT - How About An ME 262 For Christmas? (JMiller-Others)

Post by don Tomás »

Just in case you don't find an original '73 to get me for Christmas, how about a reproduction ME 262? Of course they did have to substitute GE J-45's for the old unreliable Jumo 004, but what the hey... :D

That's too cool! I wonder if they do special orders? I'd love to have a P51-D :D

I hope they substituted the guns with something you can still get ammo for. Otherwise, I'm not buyin'.

The 262 would be fine. The P-51D would be great(had just enough cash to buy one in '72 when I got my license--worth 30X what I would have paid)or possibly a P-38, P-40, or P-47!!! Personally the p-38 would be after the 262. How about an F-86 :D

Oh man, I forgot about that! I'll have to check with Midway to see if I can get a set of 30MM reloading dies for the MK108 - if not, I guess forget about getting me a Me 262 for Christmas... :D

You know, if Hitler had of used those ME 262s right, he would have kicked our combined @$$es. As it was he used them for bombers instead of what they were designed for and cost his military big time.

Thank goodness for his stupid streak.

Where's the stinkin' swastika tail-flash???

I'm no fan of Hitler and his crew, but for cryin' out loud!!!
