I just saw a savage 1899 in 30-30.Its stock was sanded but not refinished. It has no cracks and the bluing is awesome. It was $369 a good buy.

Savage 99 30-30
I wish it could be rebored to 375 winchester.I dont know who does good rebore jobs and how much it cost.I had a rebored 22 hp that was a 25-35.It shot pretty good.I think the 30-30s in 99s have low collectors value. It is a very good price.I just dont like 30-30s not enough power for me.The bluing is awesome. Its not drilled and tapped for a scope. The guy said it was the light weight model.I dont think it was hunted or shot much.
