I was depressed last night so I called Lifeline.

Got a call center in Pakistan.

I told them I was suicidal.

They got all excited and asked if I could drive a truck.

Crikey!! I had a sort of suicidal experience myself last night.

I was having a couple of quiet beers in the local pub and watching the ABC seven o'clock news. A bloke was standing on the edge of a high-rise building, apparently contemplating suicide.

I said to me mate Tassie, "I'll bet you fifty bucks that he jumps."

He says straight off "You're on!"

Right then the bloke leaps off.

Tassie sighed and reached for his wallet but I tried to stop him. "I can't take your dough, mate", I said. "I heard about the suicide on the radio as I was driving over, so I knew he'd jump."

"Nah, it's allright" says Tas, " I saw it on GWN at six but I did'nt reckon he'd jump orf again!."
