The floodgates are open. We took down the requirement for visual and moderator verification. It will stay down for two days (ending December 20 or at the first sign of abuse) more or less. We want for folks to "make it in the door" and so spread the word via e-mail, phone or whatever. This and the post on the old forum are both non-sticky since a significant number of folks do NOT read the announcements and stickies and such. So please BTT it ever now and then. We don't want to be sitting ducks for the spammers so after two days (or after we note a spammer intrusion) we'll slam the door on them and go back to both visual and moderator verification.
Also, if anyone's having problems with a registration (can't login due to non-active account) PLEASE e-mail me or Hobie. Just copy my address below into a new message (you'll have to type it in) and let me know. PLEASE tell us what your username is so that we can bring it up and OK it manually.

I can only add that we aren't leaving the old forum, just moving houses. A family doesn't change just because of the house in which it lives changes. Same here.

Yes, Tom. This is the "New Site" which is really the old "Leverguns Refuge" with a new domain name. We were able to back it up and then install it in its own domain and then mothballed it "for future reference". Paco decided to go ahead and switch over since here we have control of the server, database, etc.
Anyway, folks who registered on the "Leverguns Refuge" are still registered here. BUT those who were only registered on the old http://leverguns.sixgunner.com forum and never registered on the "Refuge" will have to register here before they can post.
