Kind of OT - is your name the same...

Post by Ysabel Kid »

Here on the new forum as it was on the old one? Mine is. Got to thinking that I usually try to drop a "welcome aboard" when I notice someone posting with a low count (less than 5), but heck, they may have been old hands on the old forum under a different name!

Plus my memory stinks!

So, if I welcomed any of you fellow old fanny burbs, I apologize!

What a funny question.

Actually there are a few who have changed to their real names but most have not changed except perhaps in capitalization.
Sincerely,

Hobie

No, I liked the simplicity of just my first name, so I switched.

With the exception of the few sites that force me to use a longer name (where I add my birth-date), it's the same on every shooting, hunting, outdoor related site I visit. I can't see the point of using different names everywhere.

Come on Ysabel, you know I'm C. Cash because a Redneck has to put his name on everything to remember it

Same. I would of preferred not using my real name but just using Kim, KC, or Kim Cook usually was already taken on most forums so I just use kimwcook.

I considered changing as I used "Longfin" on the fishing forums as that is the name of my boat. I know is don't sound very lever-like but what the heck, at my age I don't need anything else to try to remember.

All I did was add spaces. I use this handle on most forums.

Nope. Dropped the screen name of Tomhorn that I have used on a number of sites for years. Just used my own name. No particular reason.
