Hi all.

I'm new to this forum. Here are some pics of my 356 Winchester 94 Big Bore. A hunting gun. Not mint, but nice patina. What do you think?

Regards,
MGR

I have a nice Winchester 356, shot a bear in BC with it, have a scope as you do.
Very accurate, one shot 150 yards, one dead bear. You will like the results, it
will kill just about anything you shoot with it.

Welcome to the forum. I'd say that beyond nice, that's great! How does it shoot? How long have you had it?

I haven't shot the Winchester yet, no. Bought it recently, very reasonably.

Here it is with some others, do you guess which? The upper is a tough one :D .

Welcome - pull up a chair, and sit a spell !

The .356 BB94 is an excellent choice - mine was accurate out to the 250-odd yards (scoped) at which I took a couple of deer with.

You'll love that .356Win.

Factory ammo is scarce and somewhat expensive so you'll probably end up reloading for it.

I've got a 94AE and a Marlin 336ER. Great hunters.

My go-to guns when something absolutely, positively has to be DRT.

Welcome to the forum, and a great bunch of shooters. We have a couple of levergunners from Norway that post sometimes. What game do you hunt in Norway? AND what is the mystery gun, kind of looks like a 92 action.

Welcome to the best Enabler’s Forumn around. You have good taste in scopes. Todd/3leg
30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres

You have good taste MGR1...especially with that 1950's Weaver .......those scopes can't be hurt...your 2.5 power is a hard one to come buy in that nice condition.....I have it's twin mounted on a Colt 6920 AR....

Reload for that 356.......very cheap reloading using 357 diameter pistol bullets for play.-----6

Many thanks for the welcome :) .

I can disclose that the top (silver) gun is a Walther Co2 levergun :D. Perfect for training in the basement.

Yes, the Weaver Micro Trac K2.5-1 must be one of the last that came from the old El Paso factory, and perhaps one of the best. A very nice period accessory.

About hunting: I have been hunting roe deer (they are quite small over here) and moose.

I know 356Win brass is scarce, especially over here. Not seen any for years. But some 110 cases, 180 Speer and Hornady bullets, and four dies came with the 94 BB, so I am equipped for a while :) .
