Not a whole lot of folks have probably ever seen how well a 250-255 bullet from a 45 colt at a nominal 1000fps or less actually works on anything of flesh and blood. Also remember, it knocks down the DC requirement on long gun requirements to be either broken down or locked with a trigger lock device... that's HUGE! And their comments reqarding prohibitions against possession by felons and mentally incompetent are also significant in that both require a finding ...

They are doable, I've done a couple. Took me a coupla trial "fittings" to get mine shaped "just right." I used some "hard face" rod for my horseshoin' so I won't have to worry about future wear.
