I believe I'll get better as I aquaint myself with it. I was simply amazed that the first shot was alongside a 2" bullseye, and amazed again when they all fell right in there. The Kel Tek cant do that in my hands and for whatever reason isnt fun to shoot, this one is. 8)

If you arent pushing them fast soft bullets are fine. Thats what they used back in the day & thats why they got acceptable acuracy from varying bore sizes. Leading can be caused by pushing too hard, but its also common with an undersized HARD cast bullet because they dont obturate & fill the...

I could live with a tang safety if the hammer had half cock. I'm not sure I buy the idea that liability is worse if you change back. I'v found barrels on the online auctions & once upon a time e-bay. You should be aware though that they dont necessarily headspace right. They set headspace at the factory with the locking lug, its ground to achieve headspace so its a toss up if a barrel swap will need a fatter or thinner lockin...

its still coming down here in the SW corner of CT. I got the snowblower running last night & already made one pass this morning with about 3" on the ground. I dont mind it much but after lat year I sure wouldnta cried if we got no snow this year!
