I've had mine many years, not sure of where it was made. When the weather gets cold I use it for butter beans and smoked ham hocks with onion and garlic plus cornbread. Got a real big non enameled one with legs at the farm for biscuits.

Scott, you remember the old Mayfield Store around Juno in Val Verde Cty? It was like a "Last chance" type place for beer and ammo and bait and such. Great place.

Saw the Ft Sumner headstone years ago (40+) coming back from a Colorado elk/mulie hunt. It was located next to a huge antique and junk store. It was on that same trip I saw and purchased a1958 XK 150 Jaguar from a tree nursery. Fantastic trip.

I found my copy at 1/2 price books in San Marcos in the sporting section about 15 years ago. I recall his cool method of lining up many many paper targets in line to measure bullet drop from "the rock of Gibraltar. "

Last deer I killed with a 22 was a Axis deer with a knob on one side, brained him at about 11 or 12 feet. Not being native Texans, they're legal with a 22.
