Safelite Glass Co warning.
Apparently it’s SNAFU at Safelite to send away vehicles with forward facing cameras if there are any stored codes. The parent company will not allow the shops to work on them. They give no notice of this until they send you away. My local Honda dealership says they get hundreds of calls from upset f...

I had a buttpad go bad. Don’t remember the brand. Either Kickeze or limbsaver. It was a bad batch of pads and they replaced it.

Re: Thoughts on pocket knives.
[ That's one reason we don't fly anymore! I hated having to pack my pocket knife in my baggage before a flight, and then not have it. Of course I can't pack my carry gun either, so that's equally annoying. Nancy’s newest suitcase has a pocket for a portable battery right on top. I slip my knife in ...

I have been carrying pocket knifes daily since I was probably 9 or 10 years old, even in Grade school, around 1970- 71. It was common back then. We even played "Stretch" and other games with them at recess. I used to carry an old Barlow and those cheap knifes you could win at the Carnival...

I have the M73G4 on my Remington Model 25. It came with a WWII era that was toast and the Malcolm 2.5x is a spitting image and has great clarity nice crosshairs. It’s a 3/4” tube so light transmission is not comparable to my modern glass but I like it.

I’m kind of a steel snob. The Moore’s use mostly 1095 carbon steel. It’s an old steel and takes a good edge but doesn’t retain it as well as modern steels. It also rusts without care. I’ve moved through all the fancy newer steels but have gone backwards to 154cm. I used to really like S30V but it i...

Following up on the posting about these "Okanogan Shooting Sticks" in the classified section, as they're not available to buy since Wind's passing (RIP), I'd noted over there that a marine supply store or Chandlery could be a good source for some parts needed to make your own set. Well it...

The M-4 puts the AK to shame unless your house clearing…… I personally can’t make that claim as a blanket claim. Inside 250 the AK is a better stopper. Accuracy is plenty good in a well-built one. Outside of 250 the flatter shooting 556 wins. Mag changes are about the same and as far as robustness ...
