This old, worked over '95 SRC / .30-'06 has accounted for more whitetail than any other rifle I own. I was still in college when I bought it, and that $350 was every last dollar I had, but I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Misplaced two Colt Official Police revolvers, one that is British proofed. Finally found them about six months later.

That Starr is pretty slick. Looks good in the '17 holster.

There was a single action version at the last show I went to for $700. Probably should have bought it, but just wasn't in the buying mood.

There's an aviation museum not far from us that has a B-25. I still run outside to see it if I hear it coming.
There was a B-17 that used to fly in for the Cleveland air show. I'd catch that one flying through once in a while.

You're right, it's no Remington 40X, but it will shoot better than I can. There are serious chamber variations in the RBs, especially the 7x57s. I was told long ago to do a chamber cast on the 7mms, which I did when I had one. That particular 7mm had no issues, but I still shot cast bullets out of it 90% of the time. That's one I really wish I'd kept. Cool old rifle. jb 8)
