Folks did like those Polychokes back then.

One of my 16's is a suicide safety A5 with a COMPENSATED Poly. It's kind of startling because it gives you a little puff of air in the face with each shot.

I bought it for $135 around 1999. It's not hideous, but not a great beauty either.

Ha!I used to be down on the self checkout until I got in line behind a woman buying 13 gift cards to pay 13 different bills by mail. Kept telling the cashier her life story of why she couldn't get a checking account. Nope, I'll self checkout every time and get my Cabela bucks for ammo purchases too.

69. Started with a REAL Red Ryder my Mom had in the 30's. Still have the Remington 511X I bought for $30 when I was 12.

Shooting more now than ever. Shotguns, lever silhouette in .22, pistol cartridge, and big bore. Airgun silhouette in fall/winter. Retirement is great for shooting.

The longer barrels are quieter. I have a 60s Remington bolt action with a 24" and it's noticeably quieter than some of my other guns. With CCI Subsonic ammo it sounds like a pellet gun.

Mine never closed and in fact continued most of our match schedule, however limited this time of year. Participants were told to follow guidelines as much as possible and above all stay home if they felt sick. I still don't know anyone who has had The Wuhan.
