Since you don't really care for the maple leaves, try looking for a "Classic". They were made in both carbine and rifle form for a few years. The loading gate is either gold or silver and there may be some sort ot engraving around the receiver edge. Happy Hunting. :D

I was looking at a Winchester 1897 serial 974XXX today marked $499. The tag had "AFR" at the edge. Anyone want to "crack the code" for me? :D

Hagler hit the nail on the head. States used to measure overall length from front bumper to rear, 65 feet was common. Now the length of the trailer or combination of trailers is measured.

I tell people we don't run them anymore because I get a nosebleed way up there
