Just a simple observation. It appears that there are people who would still purchase a well made 9mm semi-auto in a more reasonable size than that of some of the wondernines. I know nothing about those older S&W model 3900 series other than that they were not nearly as large as the Beretta 92. W...

Don't really have woods where I live, so it is a moot point for me. A Glock in .357 Sig would not be a bad idea. Not too heavy, almost the power of a .357, and accurate enough for most things. Re: "The name is Bond, James Bond"
PillHer sold her PPK/s several years ago for a Springfield XD. She made a great trade in my opinion. That PPK/s liked to bite the hand that shot it, was not accurate, and would not feed reliably with Winchester white box, or Federal red box. I will never own one, and PillHer will never own another. ...

If you want cheap, go get one of the kits which are machine built and screw it together. I have one in .40 S&W that uses Glock magazines. PillHer likes it as much as I do. That longer barrel makes the noise a little less at the ear, and the bullets have a really nice crack sound as they exit. I paid $400 plus tax about a year ago.
