Re: New Savage in .17 WSM Rimfire

I don't think most guys on here want to spend the time it takes to skin and flesh out a nasty coyote for no more than they bring. It might be worth it for the heavy northern ones but that would be about it. On the other hand, if some of yall are looking to make money off hides, most Western bobcats ...

Anybody have one of these? I am thinking of picking one up, as I want a gun I can shoot black powder in and they seem fairly reasonably priced. Anybody load for the 45 colt in black powder? Guns that mean the most to you?

As I was looking at my gun rack this morning, I got to thinking about a few of the guns I have that will never be for sale at any price because the memories attached to them. The first is a single shot NEF .410 I got in the 7th grade after saving for a long time. I carried it on many squirrel hunts ...

.357 and 2400

Just wanted to ask a quick question about some reloads I made up today. I thought I had 158 grain SWCs, and made up 50 rounds with a 1cc lee dipper, which actually weighs out to 14 grains. Later, I actually weighed the bullets and they are actually 148 grainers, so I was wrong. 10 grains difference ...

For some reason, even though I have never actually held one, these little guns intrigue me, and one of them is certainly on my one day list. I think the browning ones are the most handsome .22 rifles around. Anyway, like I asked in the topic, anybody have any experience with them?

The 44 mag '94 I asked yalls opinion of earlier didn't work out. He wound up wanting a little more than I was willing to pay. And, after some reading I had reservations about how well it would feed. The same gun store I just bought the .32 H&R from has a model 94 in 44 mag that hasn't hit the shelf yet but the owner showed it to me anyway, and boy am I tempted. It is from, I would say the late '60s, because it is non-lawyered up and doesn't have angle eject. It does have honest wear and has...

What is amazing is seeing pictures of the damage those little coils of steel do when they get loose. I saw a pic one time of a roll that got loose and rolled forward and bashed in the back of a truck. They just don't look that heavy is the funny thing.

Yup, Jordan started the day out with 5 cartridges. Shot a doe for his buddy, and was down to four. Then, he flushed The big One and took three shots at him but missed. He continued to track him and killed him with his last cartridge. I think he scored 205.
