My once fired .32-40 brass stretched. Probably less than 50% of the 60 rounds I reloaded today. Lyman's 50th sez "trim-to" length is 2.120". Some of mine were as long as 2.23". Most were in the 2.15" range. I dropped my previous load of 15 grains of 5744 to 14 grains, as the...

In 1969 Geologists and physics both predicted CA would fall off into the Pacific. I hitchhiked my way to NO... co-incidently, just in time for Madri-Gras... I'm still waiting for the predicted fall of CA, (into the ocean, we know it's really fallen far)!

"Weapons of war have no place on California's streets," Bonta said in a statement Thursday. I hate to break it to AG Bonta, but 'weapons of war" have been on America's streets since revolutionary times! (Yes, ang before). Plus, the AR-15 is not a "weapon of war."

I'm not particularly fond of bear meat... so I hope y'all forgive for taking a pass. I believe my 45-70 in the 1886 will get the job done... and with better sights, the Sharps 1874 in .40-90SBN will also, with the added advantage I can remain farther away!

I think that was a hold over from the last powder shortage so folks would buy all there was on the shelf! I've never had a problem using Unique on my either my RCBS Uniflow or either Dillon. But, I've never tried loading it in very small (under 6 grain) charges.

Earlier this year I bought a Frankford Arsenal wet tumbling kit that was on sale at Midway. Since I shoot a lot of BP rounds, I tend to decap before tumbling, either dry or wet. Excellent post Jim. Glad you got it back and enjoy it so much. I once owned a Single Six and traded it for a Marlin 336 in .30-30. When my Dad moved from AZ to TN he mentioned that he wanted to hunt bears... so I gifted him the 336. After he passed, my Mom gave me his guns, and my son his 10-22. I a...

But, it's a much more svelte action than the Rolling Block.
